My New Favorite Band, The Secret Sisters

Just a matter of minutes ago I discovered The Secret Sisters, aka my new favorite band! The sisters are Laura and Lydia and I don't think they could be any lovelier. They sing some of my favorite old songs like Big River and Something Stupid and they do it beautifully. My favorite though is their original Tennessee Me, which you can hear here. They happened to record they're album right here in Nashville! Hopefully I'll be able to see them live soon! Anyway, since I'm so new to these girls you can watch the video below and to learn more about them!

Yes, I'm in pants! Haha! I think it has been eight months since I last wore a pair of pants. I don't know what it was about today, but it just felt like a pants kind of a day! I bought these last year and they have just been sitting in my closet waiting to be worn. I kinda can't wait to pair them with some suspenders!

Oh, and this is completely random, but is anyone else as happy as I am that Joaquin Phoenix is back to his normal, clean shaven self?! I'm soooo glad he's going to keep making movies. Walk the Line and Inventing the Abbots are too of my favorite movies ever! Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely weekend! :o)

Today is the last day of summer! I must admit summer is my favorite time of year, so it is kinda sad to see it go. I'm a beach and pool girl all the way! Though I'm excited to experience my first fall here in the south. I have a feeling it will be quite wonderful! So, until next summer here are several of my favorite hot weather photos. I have been waiting for a very long time to post these pictures my dears! I didn't want to post them in the middle of summer, so I was a good girl and waited until now ;o) Perfect timing really because I just received my Lena Hoschek F/W catalog in the mail the other day! All I gotta say is these looks are 99.9% of my inspiration for dressing this fall. I'm very much so a warm weather gal, but I kinda can't wait for cooler weather now! It might be awhile though because it's still in the 90s here everyday. So until it's chilly I can gather all of my Lena Hoschek inspired pieces and be ready for those cozy fall days! Louis Vuitton Fall 2010

You might say that I discovered Louis Vuitton's Fall 2010 collection a tad late...like just last week! I'm a bit slow when it comes to runway fashion, except of course when it comes to Lena Hoschek, hehe. Though you could say I'm right on time, being it's fall 2010?! Anyway, I simply adore this collection and it's ladylike 1950's vibe! To be added to my need list for fall, tweeds, full skirts, gloves, velvet bow belts and fun glasses.

PS: Today is my Mama's birthday!!! I love you and like you so much I can't say it all Mama! :o)
