Silly Q

The bow is a gift from Aya!

Hello lovelies! So, Monday I got my hair trimmed up a bit, this time a little bit shorter. I wanted it to look like this picture of Ginnifer Goodwin. It turned out exactly the way I wanted it because my hair stylist Will rocks! Seriously if your in Nashville go to Trim, hehe. Anyway, I wanted to take some pictures to show you my new do. At first I tried to be all glamourous. Then I realized I'm not very glamorous, I'm actually rather goofy! A silly Q you might say. ;O)

A Chilly Afternoon

Hat, bought with this lovely lady a couple years ago
Vintage Coat, a gift from my awesome friend Sara
Vintage 1950s dancing dress, dress swap with Karyn
Boots, a gift from my Mom

I'm practically all decked out in gifts today, lol! This dress is from a swap I did with Karyn. Karyn is such a sweetie with such a great shop and blog that y'all need to check out if you haven't yet! I'm quite smitten with this dress and was dancing around all day in it.

Jonny and I had a lovely laid back weekend. Saturday we did lots of driving around town and drinking coffee, as usual, hehe. We also had a wonderful dinner with some friends last night. Today we were just plain lazy and we're about ready to watch Sabrina. Jonny has never seen it before!
How was your weekend lovelies?

Inspiration Friday, Blooming Gardens 1950s Style

I discovered these images from Vogue Korea a few weeks ago and have been dying to show them to you ever since! They're from the August issue of and feature pieces from Louis Vuitton's Fall 2010 Collection, which I've confessed my love for here before. Enjoy!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Jonny and I plan to put up our Christmas tree, yay!

Shanghai

When Shabby Apple asked me to review one of the dresses from they're Silk Road collection I just had to say yes. First of all I'm a big fan of Shabby Apple's huge selection of casual and vintage style dresses. Second, I couldn't resist the charm of the dress I'm wearing here called the Shanghai. It's made of the softest silk with the sweetest details and comes in such pretty colors. Perfect for any occasion if you ask me!

I'll talk to you all soon! I hope you're having a great week so far! xo

An Afternoon Latte & A New Dress

This afternoon Jonny and I took a trip to one of our favorite coffee shops. We sat right by the window.

I had a regular latte...

and Jonny had a eggnog latte.

Yummm! :o)

Yesterday I bought this dress from Anthropologie. It was on sale for just $29!

This picture is from Wednesday when I had a ladies lunch with my two super cute friends Rachel and Carmen. I thought it was so funny how all three of us blogger girls pulled out our cameras to take pictures of our food before we started eating, lol!
Monday I plan on having a 24 hour sale in my shop, so stay tuned! xoxo

Inspiration Friday, Karen Elson

This week I choose Karen Elson for inspiration Friday. Not only is she gorgeous and creates fabulous music, but she also lives right here in Nashville!
So, last week I went to lunch with my friends Carmen and Kelsey, and we just happened to be sitting a couple tables away from Karen Elson. Super cool! Then after lunch we stopped by Venus and Mars to do some shopping. Karen happened to be there doing some work and I got to chat with her face to face! Some of you might remember several months ago I saw her in Anthropologie....I accidentally stepped in front of her and grabbed a skirt she was going for (in my nervous state), hehe, I felt so stupid... So it was nice to redeem myself and talk to her like a normal person. Thankfully I don't think she recognized me from Anthropologie, haha. Anywho, I must say she's even prettier in person and as sweet as can be!

Have a wonderful weekend darlings!
