Q's Daydream Handmade Update

It's about time I give y'all a little Q's Daydream Handmade update! I'd planned on releasing my second collection for the fall/winter season this past September. Life got in the way and as you know I'm expecting a little bundle of joy this June. I had contemplated releasing the collection many times, but due to a tough first half of pregnancy I knew it was best for me to wait a bit. Now, it's almost Spring and Hazel is due in just a few short months. So, I've decided to wait on releasing my fall/winter collection until next fall. That'll give me a few months to get used to being a mommy and start a new routine. I worked very hard on this collection and can't wait to share it with you when fall rolls around! I want to thank you all for supporting my little dream this far! It means the world to me.

Gosh, it's hard to believe I'm almost 25 weeks pregnant. Though, I'll count this post as being 24 weeks since I'm still a couple days shy of 25. 

Anywho, lately my go to outfits have consisted of skinny maternity jeans (the only maternity purchase I plan to make). I myself find that quite odd, do to the fact that I'm not at all a jeans girl, lol! I guess I've been turning to my maternity jeans because it's still till cold to wear dresses without tights.. and my tights have gotten seriously uncomfortable at this point, haha! I'm ready for warmer temps so I can just throw on a dress and go. Only 24 days left until spring, yay! Well, I hope y'all had a nice weekend! They certainly seem to go by too fast, don't they?! xx

A Thoughtful Gift

Hello! Last week I received a surprise package (the best kind!) in the mail from one of the loveliest ladies I know, Jessie of Strawberry Moth. Jessie made this Elvis print dress for little Hazel and I couldn't love it more! Jessie also sent along the sweetest print that I plan on hanging in Hazel's nursery. As well as the prettiest little heart garland, that I'll also hang in the nursery.

And just for me Jessie sent a basset hound necklace. Loretta is very proud! ;)

I hope you all are well! The past couple of weeks have flown by. I guess being pregnant does that to ya! Hazel and I are doing very well though. She kicks and kicks throughout the day and it makes me so very happy. I plan on doing another pregnancy outfit this weekend, so I'll be back soon! xx

Hello! I'm so excited to be starting my pregnancy style series. Honestly up until very recently I didn't even feel like I looked pregnant. Just bloated, lol! Now I feel like it's obvious I'm pregnant, and that's a good feeling. I'm working my way through my 22nd week now. I've been feeling Hazel move several times during the day and it's just the best feeling ever. The second trimester is finally living up to it's feeling awesome reputation! :)

I hope y'all had a great weekend! The weather here in Nashville has been just lovely recently. I'll take a high near 60 degrees any day during February! xx

I came across these two, new to me photographs of Jean Seberg and had to share. I love discovering new photographs of my favorite fashion icons! They were taken in 1958 in Jean's hometown, Marshalltown Iowa. If you're interested you can read a little more about the story here.

Inspiration Friday, Lena Hoschek F/W 2013/14

 Who better to put me back into the blogging swing of things than Lena Hoschek?! ;) I always get excited when Lena comes out with a new collection. Her f/w collections always come when I'm in my winter funk and just want spring to hurry up and come... but seeing these f/w collections always makes me a feel a little bit better about winter lasting a tiny bit longer.

We're Having A Baby Girl!

Hello! Just yesterday Jonny and I found out we're having a baby girl! We are both just over the moon! The little bathing suit above is my first ever that my Mama saved for me. It should fit our little Hazel perfectly this spring ;) I also want to thank you all for you sweet congratulations! I can't believe that post was over a month ago now. With the holidays and having to take it easy the past couple of weeks time has flown by! I'm really hoping to get back into the blogging swing of things for real this time.
