Buttons and Plaid...

Happy Monday everyone! Can you believe we're almost to Christmas!? I still have shopping to do! ahhh! To get in the mood I decided to wear some festive colors, again. The sweater is my favorite ever! I probably wear it more than is necessary, hehe. I love the dress not only because it's plaid, but because of the cute button details!

Also, I had quite the nice surprise this morning! I'm the newest in the top 100 Queens of Vintage on Queens of Vintage.com. Yay! It's quite the honor to be thought of and to be included with so many other wonderful gals!

Dress: late 40s early 50s
Sweater: Free People
Shoes: Bongo

  17. The dress fits you so perfectly & that cardigan is extraordinary! I sat next to a boy in a class with the dude who wrote the English Patient and this boy wore a sweater wish fun asymmetrical buttons every week to class & he would say the most irritating and pretentious things & made me loathe sweaters with interesting buttons forever, but now you've wrenched the sweater back into cuteland for me! Congrats on your feature!

  30. Oh that is lovely!! I love the buttons on the back on the dress :)
I too often take sundresses and pair them with sweater and cardigans so I can wear them throughout the year (that and also because I don't have any good vintage winter dresses)

By the way congrats about the vintage queen! I was so excited to see you there - you deserve it :)

    Happy holidays
