A View From The Bridge

When I saw these shots from the new Broadway play A View From The Bridge I knew it was a play that I would love to see. Not only does the plot sound edgy and dramatic, but the vintage clothes Scarlett wears are great. I'm loving the first picture, which I believe is from Vogue.

Oh, btw Shutter Island was fabulous! It's the best new movie I've seen in a long time. I think I have to see it again, hehe ;o)

  5. The costumes are so beautiful! And I am dying over Scarlett's praire-like dress in the first picture, and even more so over her shoes -- I wish they gave footwear credit so I could hunt them down!

I don't really like Scarlett Johannson for some reason...she bothers me, but her wardrobe is pretty dreamy!

  10. That play sounds really cool! I wish I could see it, but Broadway plays are so expensive! Especially when a celebrity is in it! I really love her clothes though! That white dress is amazing!

  18. I saw a production of this play a couple of years ago at the Oregon Shakespeare festival in Ashland and it was SO GOOD! One of the best plays I have ever seen and one of the few to actually move me to tears. I can imagine that Liev is so good it in I would be balling by the end!

  19. I'm so glad you're writing about the costumes in this show! I saw it yesterday and it was fantastic. Check out my review, which I'll link to below—I talk about how much I loved the costumes. The designer, Jane Greenwood, did a terrific job. All the clothes looked GREAT on everyone and were very flattering.

PS: Your site looks great! My roommate runs a vintage fashion blog—you should check it out. www.sammydvintage.com
