When I saw these shots from the new Broadway play A View From The Bridge I knew it was a play that I would love to see. Not only does the plot sound edgy and dramatic, but the vintage clothes Scarlett wears are great. I'm loving the first picture, which I believe is from Vogue. Oh, btw Shutter Island was fabulous! It's the best new movie I've seen in a long time. I think I have to see it again, hehe ;o)

The costumes are so beautiful! And I am dying over Scarlett's praire-like dress in the first picture, and even more so over her shoes -- I wish they gave footwear credit so I could hunt them down!

ReplyDeleteI don't really like Scarlett Johannson for some reason...she bothers me, but her wardrobe is pretty dreamy!
i saw shutter island tonight! it's soooooo good! when i walked out everyone was complaining about the ending, but i liked it!

ReplyDeleteI saw a production of this play a couple of years ago at the Oregon Shakespeare festival in Ashland and it was SO GOOD! One of the best plays I have ever seen and one of the few to actually move me to tears. I can imagine that Liev is so good it in I would be balling by the end!
