I just recently discover Italian-born actress Anna Maria Pierangeli, or Pier Angeli. I was drawn to her timeless style and magical photos. I don't know much about Pier yet, I plan on ordering this book soon! I do know that we share the same birthday and James Dean was the love of her life. So in the meantime I'll share the gorgeous pictures with you and hope you find them as inspiring as I do.

oh, i adore Pier Angeli! if her parents had let her marry James Dean, perhaps she would not have met with such an untimely end. she had a twin sister too: Marisa Pavan. the two of them were absolutely stunning. great post!
