Inspiration Friday, Margo Beach Story

Today for inspiration Friday, Margo Beach Story, Friday. I just stumbled upon these images when I was on one of my googling sprees. I love how they tell a story of a fun day at the beach. Of course the fact that it's the 1940's and everyone looks fabulous makes it even better!

Wouldn't you love to spend a day like this!? Many more pictures can be found here.

  3. These are so much fun, I love how plain those lifeguards look. You'd never see average guy looking lifeguards in a photo shoot now, they'd swap them out for male strippers

  6. Ah, these are great!! I love seeing 40s girls all casual with no lipstick and their hair all messed up every once and a while; they look so cute and carefree!

  9. Oh my gosh I love the vintage swimsuits! I think I will need to transition to one after baby. I know I will have to go one piece anyways...may as well be vintage style!

  10. I am in love with these photos! This summer is going to be the first summer in 8 years that I actually purchase a swimsuit (we live by water now, and I've never been a fan of public swimming pools) and I'm most definitely going to look into buying a vintage one! They're so much cuter than the ones in stores today. Thank you for sharing these =)!
