Every spring I find myself going back to director Adrian Lyne's adaptation of Vladimir Nobokov's novel Lolita. Dominique Swain's costumes in the film are seriously to die for! I fact I'm so crazy about the outfits in this movie that I bought a reproduction of the sailor playsuit last spring! You can see the post of me wearing it here.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the fashions in this movie, particularly the playsuits! It’s great to see that others do, too! My favorite is the one is the black and white (or is it navy?) with the bow print and all the lace trim! It’s just so sweet!

I really love them all but if I would have to deside for one I think my favorite would be the white dress with the purple flowers (it's very barely to see but she is wearing it one time in the car and when she's going to bed in the tipi)
I also made a top myself that looks similar to hers (that with ruffles)and I'm looking forward to make more of her dresses when I'm better in sewing ;D
