Evening Light

Hello lovelies! I hope everyone had a nice weekend!
The dress I'm wearing is one I made a couple months back. It was somewhat inspired by one of my favorite dresses from Lena Hoschek's S/S collection. I used and early 70's pattern that I had bought on Etsy in the spring. I'm happy with the way it turned out, but next time I think I'll use a lighter weight fabric. Unfortunately making this dress didn't seem to diminish my desire to own the Lena Hoschek dress it was inspired by, hehe.

Dress, Made by me
Belt and bag, vintage
Shoes, Thrifted

Also, you might be able to tell these pictures are a little fuzzy. Well, that's because I'm still using Jonny's phone to do outfit posts. I'm hoping to have my new camera by Christmas or maybe sooner! So, until them camera phone pics it is, lol. Talk to you soon!

  1. Adorable as always! Great job on the dress. I keep promising myself that I'm going to take formal sewing classes so I can do this for myself :)

  7. Nice job on the dress it's super cute! I've had a hard time keeping my Lena Hoschek crushing at bay too, but I don't seem to be having much luck. If only I had hoards of money to spend, I would go to town on that website.
