Lately

Hello! I feel like it's been so long since I've last posted, so I just wanted to pop in and let you know what I've been up too! This past weekend was my baby shower. My sister flew in from Maryland and her and my Mom threw it for me. I had such a lovely time! I have such wonderful lady friends.
The last couple of days I've been getting Hazel's things in order. She'll be here before we know it! We've also been in the process of setting up the nursery. It's almost done and I can't wait to show you soon! After such a busy few weeks it's time for me to catch up on some sleep. Being pregnant can be quite tiring. I hope you all are well! Recently

Since the weather wouldn't cooperate the last few days I thought instead of sharing outfit pictures I'd share some recent pics from my instagram. Above is a view of my closet from my bed. The dress is my after baby Lena Hoschek dress that is waiting patiently to be worn. Also, three sailor dresses for Hazel. She now has one for the first three years of her life! All thrifted at different times for $2 each. Oh yeah!

Jonny's birthday was Sunday, so we did some yummy indulging on Saturday and Sunday. This isn't even everything naughty we ate, hehe ;)

Of course Loretta is always a huge part of my day. Looking cute as always.

It's Spring!!

Yay! It's officially Spring! My most favorite season of the year :)

I snapped this picture on my phone a few days ago when the weather was perfectly springy, in the 70s! Today, it's not so springlike. Like most of the country Tennessee seems to be going through a bit of a cold spell. Our highs are only going to reach into the 40s and 50s for the next week or so. Though, the weatherman has promised us more seasonal temps soon. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Yes, I'm slightly obsessed with the weather, lol. In the meantime I'm going to keep myself busy doing some sewing for myself and Hazel. I might even watch a movie like Blue Hawaii or Gidget and daydream about the beach ;) I'll talk to ya'll soon! xx

Hello!

Hello! Oh my goodness, I can't believe how long it's been since my last post! I'm so sorry for disappearing without a word. Life just got in the way the last couple of months.. Now I'm excited to start getting back into the blogging swing of things. I've missed you all! Oh, and thank you so much for your kind words while I was away. 

For now I'm just going to leave you with this funny picture of Loretta. She is quite the lazy girl, hehe! I'll be back super soon with updates on all sorts of things. Including my new line! Finally.

This morning when I went out to our yard to get Loretta, I found this. Has to be one of the cutest things I've ever seen! I find this particularly funny because Loretta always need our help to get on the sofa. Which is lower than this lawn chair. Now, if I can just capture her getting on the chair, lol! Life..

 Life has been a little bit crazy lately. So, today for a little getaway my Mom and I went out thrifting, lunching and park walking. Just what I need! She snapped these phone pics of Loretta and I exploring in the park. The weather has been perfection! I'm wearing the 40's dress I showed you a few days ago. I'm going to take better pictures real soon! In the meantime, I hope y'all are well! xo

PS: As you can see I cut my hair into a pixie again. SO glad I did! :)

My Birthday Dress & Loretta

 This past Tuesday (the 19th) was my 27th birthday. I must say it was one of the loveliest birthdays I've had in awhile. I spent the morning getting my hair trimmed.. pampering is always good on your birthday! Then went out to lunch with Bonnie (my 83 yr old buddy). Later on it was out to dinner with Jonny. We went to our favorite restaurant and sat outside to enjoy the summer evening. Once home we spent some time in our much loved backyard, playing with Loretta and catching fireflies. 

My birthday dress, worn here, is from my Mama. Isn't it a dream!?

I hope y'all had a lovely weekend! One of the highlights for me was seeing 

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Honestly, I just went to see the movie because I'm crazy about Steve Carell and Keira Knightley has always been one of my favorites. I wasn't expecting much but a few good laughs.. but I left being so impressed and in love with the film! Jonny and I both decided it's one of our favorite movies ever. I HIGHLY recommend seeing it!
