Back in March when we shot the lookbook for Q's Daydream Handmade's S/S Collection, we also shot some video. Now we finally got it put together and now it's time to share it with you! I hope you like it! xo

Inspiration Friday, Lena Hoschek S/S 2013

This past Wednesday July 4th Lena Hoschek debuted her S/S 2013 Collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The theme was Mexico. I think the colors and prints are just perfectly Mexico! Not to mention the flower crowns. At first the painted faces threw me off, but then I realized how pretty they are and how perfect they were for Lena's theme. What do y'all think?

Lena will always be my modern day fashion hero. Love!

Yesterday, the temperature reached 108. The a perfect day to wear my new 1940's sundress! Everything I'm wearing here is a birthday present. The dress I bought with the birthday money from my Dad, and the sunglasses and shoes are from Jonny. Can I just say how much I love Swedish Hasbeens! They're so comfy!

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Jonny and I might go see Moonrise Kingdom!

Inspiration Friday, Summertime the 1940's Way

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Summer is my favorite! I don't even care that it's going to be 107 degrees here in Nashville today. It's better that 7 degrees! I've also said before that in the summertime the 1940's is my biggest source for fashion inspiration. Bring on the playsuits and cute two piece sets! ;)

My Birthday Dress & Loretta

 This past Tuesday (the 19th) was my 27th birthday. I must say it was one of the loveliest birthdays I've had in awhile. I spent the morning getting my hair trimmed.. pampering is always good on your birthday! Then went out to lunch with Bonnie (my 83 yr old buddy). Later on it was out to dinner with Jonny. We went to our favorite restaurant and sat outside to enjoy the summer evening. Once home we spent some time in our much loved backyard, playing with Loretta and catching fireflies. 

My birthday dress, worn here, is from my Mama. Isn't it a dream!?

I hope y'all had a lovely weekend! One of the highlights for me was seeing 

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Honestly, I just went to see the movie because I'm crazy about Steve Carell and Keira Knightley has always been one of my favorites. I wasn't expecting much but a few good laughs.. but I left being so impressed and in love with the film! Jonny and I both decided it's one of our favorite movies ever. I HIGHLY recommend seeing it!

Inspiration Friday, Michelle Williams, Take This Waltz

The other day I watched Michelle Williams in Take This Waltz. I fell absolutely in love with the film and Michelle's wardrobe. The movie isn't even going to released in theaters until June 29th... (I rented the pre theatrical release on Amazon) but I highly recommend seeing it if you get a chance! Not just for the pretty dresses, but also it's interesting coming of age story.
