Has anybody seen my Gal?

The weather has suddenly turned cooler so it was time for a nice warm coat. I found this one not too long back and it was meant for the shop, but it somehow found a home in my closet. Now that it's colder I find myself wearing boots almost everyday. It might be a bit of an odd pairing wearing my motorcycle boots with a girly dress, but somehow I feel like it works! I hope everyone has a lovely weekend! I have a couple new posts that I'm working on that I'm super excited about!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
The other day my dear friend Meaghan did a post on her blog with pictures of her Mom when she was just a girl. I was so enchanted by Meaghans lovely post and her adorable Mom that I had to do a post in honor of my Mama. These pictures where taken in 1970 when my Mom was 17 years old. Most were taken by her Mom and Dad for her husband to be, a midshipman at the Naval Academy. My Mom gave me these pictures when I was 16 and they've been one of my most treasured possessions since. If I was just half as beautiful as my Mama was and IS, I'd be a very lucky girl! I hope you enjoy!

A couple weeks ago Jonny told me that when I reached my 100th sale in my Etsy shop, I could get a very special dress. Well, I took this very seriously and started searching for that perfect dress long before that sale approached. Then I stumbled upon a new and wonderful little shop called Adeline's Attic. There were so many beautiful dresses I was overwhelmed! Dresses from the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, ahhh, what a dream! Then, popped up this little 40s number, and that was it, I was in love! My perfect little black dress. Jonny was sweet enough to let me order it before my 100th sale. The funny thing is, is that it arrived in the mail the day of that sale! Perfect ;o)
