This past weekend the weather was just glorious! In the upper 60s with blue skies! So, of course I spent as much time outside as possible. Jonny and I took lots of walks, ate some great food and did lots of nothing, outside of course.

On Sunday afternoon we set out to take pictures of the adorable dress I'm wearing that I'm borrowing from the lovely Victoria of Justice Pirate! It was one of those days that everywhere we went there were tons of people and I was too shy to take pictures in front of them. Finally we found a quite little spot up on the top of a mountain. There was a picnic table and I decided to stand on it, four inch heels and all. Needless to say I felt kinda silly standing on a picnic table on the top of a mountain in a dress and heels when random runners and bikers went by, lol! Oh, but it was fun! ;o)

Hi everyone! I figured since spring and it's blooming flowers are still a couple months away I would dress in bright florals this past Sunday! It was a chilly day, as you can see I had to put my jacket on after just a few minutes of snapping pictures. Luckily it's a super cute jacket. ;o) After taking pictures Jonny and I warmed up for a latte and an impromptu dinner at one of our favorite restaurants! I hope you all had a nice weekend!

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was wonderfully lazy. Yesterday Jonny and I went to see Blue Valentine, which I've been waiting to see for months! I really liked it and the acting is superb! It's very real, almost as if you not supposed to be watching it..

The dress I'm wearing if from a dress swap I did with Karyn from Dethrose Vintage. I just adore the print and the great big bow! Karyn is such a sweetheart! You need to check out her blog and etsy shop if you haven't already.

Inspiration Friday, Brigitte Bardot in the 1950's

I'm completely obsessed with Brigitte Bardot's style in the 1950's at the moment! The nipped in waists and full skirts. The earrings and ballet flats. The long hair and cropped bangs. It's just how I want to look right now! Though looking like Ms Bardot will be pretty tough, hehe!
