A Look Back At 2010

With 2010 coming to a close, it's time to take a look back...
In January, February and March I was very busy with my shop and thinking about the future.

The highlight of March was without a doubt when Meaghan came to visit! We spent a whole week just having tons of fun. She's going to come visit again soon too, yay!

In April I was a very happy girl, for spring arrived!

May was even better! I lived in my 1940s playsuits.

In June I celebrated my 25th birthday! Jonny and I spent a lot of our time at the beach and riding our bikes everywhere.

On July 5th Jonny and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary!

Then just a couple weeks later we moved from Maryland to Nashville, Tennessee!!! A dream come true for me. Since I can remember Nashville has been my dream home. It's proven to be even better than expected. I love it here!

Jonny and I spent the last weeks of summer and the early fall exploring our new city.
We've met so many wonderful people and gained so many great friends! Y'all know who you are! ;o)

In October I gave up growing my hair out and went back to my pixie roots and I'm soooo glad I did! My Mama also visited in October and now wants to move to Nashville too!

November and December have been just awesome! Lots of days driving about Tennessee and dinner parties with friends. This truly might be one of the best years I've had yet.
And you guys only make it better, so thank you! I hope you all have a wonderful 2011! Kisses!
See you in the next decade! hehe

Michelle Williams, Like An Angel

All photos found here

I'm just crazy about these new images of Michelle Williams for Angeleno magazine! I've been a fan of Michelle way back, since her Dawson Creek days. Man, was I depressed when that show ended! Anywho, I had to share these gorgeous pictures of Michelle. :o)
Is anyone as excited as I am to see Blue Valentine?!

Christmas Goodies

How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was delightful! Jonny and I stayed home all day, in our pajama's, watching Holiday movies and eating yummy food. We even had a white Christmas here in Nashville! It was lovely. I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of some of the gifts I received. Clothes, of course. Including a jacket I've been wanting forever!

Two biographies I can't wait to read! I've already started Coal Miners Daughter, and I'm loving it so far.

An amazing Audrey Hepburn poster and a carpet sweeper from my Mom. So far the carpet sweeper has gotten the most use, haha! I can't remember the last time I got so many wonderful gifts. Jonny sure did spoil me this year.
On Sunday we slept in late and then went for a couple lattes, then to see Black Swan. Black Swan was really amazing! When I got home I danced around, pretending I knew what I was doing. ;o)
I hope you all are well and safe! Talk to you soon!

Inspiration Friday, Lots of Laughs

This week for inspiration Friday I've again chosen some of my tumblr favorites of the week. I'm completely obsessed with tumblr, after all!
This past week has been crazy busy for me! Today I finally have a chance to recuperate. I intend on hanging some new/old pictures on my walls, wrapping Jonny's Christmas presents and watching an old movie or two! Did you all have a nice week? Are you excited for the holidays?

Leslie and Liv aren't smiling, but oh well! haha

You see I had to sneak Elvis in there, hehe.
I have lots of posts in the works over the next couple of weeks, so the blog won't be so quite, as it has been...
I hope you all have a glorious weekend!

In A Pretty Lace Dress, To a Christmas Party I Go

This is what I wore to the Christmas party Jonny and I went to Friday.
A gorgeous red lace 50s dress borrowed from Carmen and amazing cowboy boots borrowed from my friend Sara! I love how in Nashville wearing cowboy boots with fancy dresses is the norm!
Jonny and I had a great time at the party. It was actually Jonny's work Christmas party, so it was really neat I got to meet a lot of his coworkers. These pictures were taken after the party around midnight. I forgot to take some before, oh well.

Sweater, very old
1950's lace dress, Closet Case Vintage, you can buy it here!
Cowboy boots, Sara :o)

A nice professional shot of Jonny and I acting goofy, hehe.
I hope you all had a marvelous weekend!

Inspiration Friday, Holiday Spirit

I lovelies! Here are some of my favorites from tumblr this week. I'm completely obsessed with the red lace dress above, worn by Michelle Williams. Oh to have it for the holidays...
Actually I will have a red lace dress to wear! Tonight Jonny and I are going to our first Christmas party of the season and I'm wearing a gorgeous red lace 50's dress borrow from Carmen! We also have Jonny's Mom coming into town this weekend for a few days, so I'm sure we'll be busy showing her around Tennessee.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
