Shanghai

When Shabby Apple asked me to review one of the dresses from they're Silk Road collection I just had to say yes. First of all I'm a big fan of Shabby Apple's huge selection of casual and vintage style dresses. Second, I couldn't resist the charm of the dress I'm wearing here called the Shanghai. It's made of the softest silk with the sweetest details and comes in such pretty colors. Perfect for any occasion if you ask me!

I'll talk to you all soon! I hope you're having a great week so far! xo

An Afternoon Latte & A New Dress

This afternoon Jonny and I took a trip to one of our favorite coffee shops. We sat right by the window.

I had a regular latte...

and Jonny had a eggnog latte.

Yummm! :o)

Yesterday I bought this dress from Anthropologie. It was on sale for just $29!

This picture is from Wednesday when I had a ladies lunch with my two super cute friends Rachel and Carmen. I thought it was so funny how all three of us blogger girls pulled out our cameras to take pictures of our food before we started eating, lol!
Monday I plan on having a 24 hour sale in my shop, so stay tuned! xoxo

Inspiration Friday, Karen Elson

This week I choose Karen Elson for inspiration Friday. Not only is she gorgeous and creates fabulous music, but she also lives right here in Nashville!
So, last week I went to lunch with my friends Carmen and Kelsey, and we just happened to be sitting a couple tables away from Karen Elson. Super cool! Then after lunch we stopped by Venus and Mars to do some shopping. Karen happened to be there doing some work and I got to chat with her face to face! Some of you might remember several months ago I saw her in Anthropologie....I accidentally stepped in front of her and grabbed a skirt she was going for (in my nervous state), hehe, I felt so stupid... So it was nice to redeem myself and talk to her like a normal person. Thankfully I don't think she recognized me from Anthropologie, haha. Anywho, I must say she's even prettier in person and as sweet as can be!

Have a wonderful weekend darlings!

A Day At Loretta Lynn's Ranch!

Today Jonny and I spent a lovely afternoon at Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch!
I've been wanting to visit since I was little and after a planned trip with some friends yesterday didn't work out Jonny suggested he take me today. It was a beautiful day indeed for a drive through the country! I'm a big Loretta fan and to go we she has lived for the last 44 years was quite the experience.

Here I am looking all excited getting ready to tour Loretta's home. She lived in this home (built before the Civil War!) until 1988. She now lives in a smaller home right in the backyard!

A pretty little statue in the garden.

Me on the porch after our tour. No pictures were allowed inside.

Loretta has a bunch of horses that Jonny and I pet and fed grass for the longest time!

There was so much to do and see, I might have to go back again soon! Maybe Loretta will be there next time ;o)
It's so crazy for me to think I spent an afternoon at Loretta Lynn's and was back home in time for supper. I love Tennessee! xoxo

Inspiration Friday, Leslie Caron

This week for inspiration Friday I decided to feature the glorious Leslie Caron. There is a little part of me that has always wanted to be a dancer, and Leslie is a big reason for that. I do go around the house dancing more than is probably normal...
Watching Leslie is mesmerizing, and she's quite the cutie pie as well. Now, maybe we should all go watch An American in Paris! ;o)

Part of me really wants a tutu...no, that's a lie, ALL of me really wants a tutu, hehe.
Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo

Shop Update: Ruffles, Bows & Puff Sleeves

Here are some of the new items added to my shop this week!
Tomorrow, inspiration Friday!

A Ladies Afternoon

Wednesday afternoon I stopped by to visit my friend Carmen at Closet Case Vintage. Little did I know that Rachel from MouseVox Vintage was going to stop by too! I was super excited to see Rachel! I first met her about a month ago when us three ladies went to have a yummy brunch at the Pancake Pantry. This visit Rachel tried on some pretty dresses from CCV and did some modeling for Carmen and I. She left with some super lovely dresses, that I'm sure you'll see soon on her blog.

After visiting with the lovely Carmen, Rachel and I stopped by and Imogene & Willie and looked at all of the pretty things.

All pictures, thanks to Rachel

I fell in love with the amazing saddle bag I'm holding and a pair of boots, oh my. Later Rachel and I went for some coffee and tea! It was wonderful running into Rachel and spending an impromptu afternoon together. I'm still amazed at how many wonderful gals I've met here in Nashville!

Here is a picture of the first time Rachel and I met! Carmen took the pic! ;o)
I hope you all are having a wonderful week!
This weekend I might be taking an exciting day trip with some girls that is sure to be fabulous!
On a side note, I have decided I must always smile with my mouth opened! I look silly smiling with my mouth closed, oh well, lol!
