Home Again

I can't believe it's been so long since my last post! This past week I was busy moving from Maine to my home state of Maryland. It's so good to be home! I feel like I've come to the south, I guess five years of living in Maine will do that to you. The weather has been lovely and warm and being with family has been fantastic! Jonny will be joining me here at the end of the month, yay! Today my little brother (well he's 6 ft and 19) and I went thrifting to find new goodies for my Etsy shop. We also drove around enjoying having the car windows down and driving by all the old farm houses. Isn't the old house in my photos just wonderful?! I'm so excited to rediscover all the wonderful old farms around here! I'll talk you all very soon! I have a few tags to catch up on, so I'll get to those as soon as I can! :o)

Memorial Day Adventure

Today I...

*Ate a yummy pancake breakfast, made by my hubby

*Looked at your lovely blogs while watching The Brady Bunch...hehe

*Went for a glorious walk by the water and took these pictures

*Daydreamed about my upcoming trip to Tennessee, while listening to my favorite old time country songs

*Went to an early dinner at my favorite barbecue restaurant. Dinner included sweet potato fries, cornbread and a yummy salad

*Talked to my Mama on the phone about our trip to Tennessee, and making our reservations at the Heartbreak Hotel...hehe

*Now I'm going to go watch A Streetcar Named Desire with my wonderful hubby

Inspired By...

Every once in awhile I find myself drawn to a certain picture of one of my fashion inspirations. This time my inspiration is the lovely Jean Seberg, in this picture. Jean Seberg is probably my biggest fashion muse. Maybe it's because her look seems more attainable for someone like me, than say...Marilyn Monroe. I've even been toying with the idea of chopping my hair into a pixie again. I'm not going to do anything drastic though...or maybe I will...lol! Anyway, this is my new dress from H&M. I love it! Oh and no this isn't the dress I was talking about yesterday. That's still to come.

Vintage Dresses

Yet again I have to say I'm sorry for the lack of posts, it's been a crazy week so far. I hope all of you are having a good week! I'm quite excited about tomorrow because the temps are supposed to reach 90 degrees...yay! The warm temps should motivate me to takes pictures of one of my favorite vintage dresses ever! Inspiration...Norma Jeane

These have got to be some of my favorite summer inspiration pictures ever! My Mom is a big Marilyn Monroe fan, so I first saw these Norma Jeane (Marilyn before she was Marilyn Monroe) pictures when I was a little girl. Ever sense then whenever I see them I get inspired all over again. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

My New Etsy Shop

I've started an Etsy shop! I have just a handful of things for sale now, but I'll be adding vintage finds frequently. Enjoy!

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long sense my last post! Life has been quite the roller coaster ride this past week, to say the least! To sum it all up real quick, Im going to be moving back to Maryland in a few weeks. I don't know if I've said, but this past year has been a tough year for me health wise. We discovered that the reason I haven't been well is because of where I'm living. Crazy huh!? Something to do with mold in the area that I live...eww! Not in the house, thank goodness! So I'm going to go stay with my family for a bit to get back on my feet. I have to admit I'm kind of excited to be going farther down south where it's lots warmer. The very VERY sad part is that I'll be away from my hubby for a little while :o( He is looking for a job in that area, so keep your fingers crossed for me. Good news, you'll probably be seeing more posts then ever! My Mom and sister are both talking about taking pictures for me...lol!
