The Girl He Left Behind

The Girl He Left Behind is a movie starring Natalie Wood and Tab Hunter from 1956.  I've been wanting to see this movie ever sense I read about it in Natalie Woods biography.  That was five or six years ago and I have yet to find the film anywhere!  I was reminded about the movie when I picked up a different Natalie Wood biography (i'm a big Natalie fan) at the library yesterday.  I excitedly went to netflix to add the movie to my list.  Well, it wasn't there.  I looked everywhere and found nothing.  I had an experience similar to this years ago when I was trying to find a copy of the only Elvis movie I had yet to see...haha.  Happily I found that movie when they finally released it on dvd.  Hopefully the same will happen with The Girl He Left Behind.  Have any of you seen this movie?  Until next time! ;o)

Does your library partake in an inter-library loan system? That has helped me track down various movies over the years. Maybe it exists on VHS somewhere too...

I'm not really familiar with her, or that movie... It looks great. I should see more old movies.

I really like a lot of the clothes that you are auctioning this week. I'm going to go and check your store out :)

I love Natalie Wood. My mom and I used to watch her movies when I was little and to me she was the ultimate young woman. She was so beautiful.
