Home Again

I can't believe it's been so long since my last post! This past week I was busy moving from Maine to my home state of Maryland. It's so good to be home! I feel like I've come to the south, I guess five years of living in Maine will do that to you. The weather has been lovely and warm and being with family has been fantastic! Jonny will be joining me here at the end of the month, yay! Today my little brother (well he's 6 ft and 19) and I went thrifting to find new goodies for my Etsy shop. We also drove around enjoying having the car windows down and driving by all the old farm houses. Isn't the old house in my photos just wonderful?! I'm so excited to rediscover all the wonderful old farms around here! I'll talk you all very soon! I have a few tags to catch up on, so I'll get to those as soon as I can! :o)

I think it would be nice to live somewhere with cool old farm houses nearby. I get tired of the city. And that dress is absolutely the best! I love the print and the cut.

yay for the homeland! Maryland will def give you a nice summer-it was always very hot-much like the south! That dress your wearing is so wonderful, I am really liking the print!

Have fun exploring, there is much to see tucked away in the woods-I sure did have fun in MD!

Glad to hear your enjoying being back in MD! :) That house is so fascinating--I always love finding old, rundown places, and wondering how they got that way. (Maybe I just have too much imagination?! lol)

Hope you had great luck thrifting!

That house is amazing! I rarely see anything like it around here and it has such character. I love houses that aren't 'perfect'.

You are looking really happy and healthy, and i am love love loving the outfit, the bag is co cute! I have way too many quilted bags to ever justify buying another one, but I really would love a cherry red one like yours to add to my collection.

Hope you're ok and all!

That house tells so much just by looking at it!

I know exactly how you feel. It's always such a great feeling to go back home! I miss mine terribly. I'm in the UK at the moment but I'm from Canada... and it drives me mad! Been here two years now and I can't wait to move back!

The pictures are absolutely lovely. I love the colors!

What an odd house! The thing that strikes me is the dilapidated state of the house and the ever pristine yard. Quite odd...Did they just transport in from the countryside or something along those lines?

Isn't it wonderful to be closer to the mason-dixon line? It's warmer, the tea is sweeter, and time moves slower. I'm visiting my parents in Texas this summer (I live in San Diego now) and it is sooo wonderful to be back.
