Lazy Day

Blouse: A gift from Meaghan!
Shorts: Tara Starlet
Socks: Target
1950s Purse: going in my shop tomorrow!
Shoes: My favs it seems, BCBG

Today was one of those days I really didn't feel like getting dressed. I was perfectly content sitting in the yard in my bathing suit catching some rays. I had to go out for a bit so I kinda had to get dressed. Don't wanna run around town in my bathing suit, haha! I'm not going to lie I had a very hard time getting dressed. I put on outfit after outfit not happy with any. It wasn't the clothes fault, just me. Finally I decided on my sailor shorts and off Jonny and I went! I was still feeling blahhh though. It wasn't until I walked into one of my favorite places, a vintage shop, that I felt like me again. Must have been the wonderful warm greetings from my man Dave and a sweet little lady telling me my outfit looked right out of the 1940s!

Anyway, I'm MUCH better now! So, thanks for listening to me vent, hehe!
Btw, doesn't Jonny look dapper in his 1960s Hawaiian shirt and fab 1930s style glasses?! We'll I'm off to take an evening stroll. I hope you all have a wonderful week! Talk soon! :o)

I love the shorts! I wish I could pull off short shorts but I always look so bottom heavy in them. Maybe it is just me...I am fairly self-conscious of my legs. And I also love the blouse Meaghan sent you. How sweet of her! The two of you are just so teeny...I should just evenly divide my too small tops and send them each your way. haha

You are too, too cute! :) I'm the same way: certain days I just feel like lazing around a bit and can't figure out what the heck to wear! (It usually ends in me pulling just about everything out of my closet and playing "dress up". haha!)

You look so gorgeous for not wanting to get dressed today!! Those shorts look absolutely incredible on you!

I am so excited for another fashion blogger to live in Nashville! There are a handful of us, so we should definitely have a meetup whenever is convenient for you/when you get settled. Do you know what part of town you are going to look at? If you have any questions regarding areas of town, etc feel free to email me! We live right in the heart of nashville, and I travel around the city all day for work, so I have a good sense for the areas. :)

the shorts and top are brilliant. you look very pretty with your short dark hair and red lips. your man looks dapper as well. i'd love to see a fashiony photo of the two of you together. your last photo resembles a young winona ryder.
