Take Me To The Fair

On Saturday Jonny and I spent a day at the fair that was right on the ocean!

Here we are out on the pier. It was crazy cool to be out even farther than the surfers down in the water!

Ya gotta love the crazy dance moves!

I got to take pictures and chat with Jesse after the show!

I love this picture of Jonny.

Here we are sitting under the pier watching the surfers and people watching. We had such a perfect day! The weather was hot, the music was great and the food was so tasty. Even the random thunderstorm before Jesse's show was kinda fun! Hmmm, today I'm tempted to go back just to get another pina colada! How was your weekend?
Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there!

I adore the last picture of you and Jonny together. These are great. It reminds me a bit of Atlantic City's Pier which is so empty these days!
One thing we (Rob and I) always wonder is. . .why do the Elvis Impersonators always do the same time period rather than the early 50s version which is the coolest?!?!? We never see those!
I love your dress. You are lovely as always.

There is a beautiful song Called Trip To The Fair by the 70s band called Renaissance that you might like. hehe. This entry reminded me of it.

I can understand your thoughts about why so many people do the uni-suit Elvis with being able to do all his songs, but at the same time I always thought he was most handsome in the 50s and had better music then too. I don't know I just don't think he was entertaining otherwise. I think it is because I am into the rockabilly sound a lot, and I think he lost that later. Hehe. I also don't like the flashy outfits compared to outfits he wore say here (in which I also think he got so much more into his music rather than so into himself, you know? Look how much fun he is having!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRnf9aX-d2k

hehehe. you are too cute about your love for Elvis. That is adorable. I used to love Elvis when I was about 5-7, because my mom was always a big fan (still is, mainly she listens to his Gospel albums). Then I discovered The Beatles and Elvis was pushed aside. I was mean to him. Sorry!! That's great that you have seen all his movies. I think I've only seen maybe 3 of his films. . . I amg oing to have to see some through netflix soon, just for you!! hehe. It is good that people still listen to his music today, I agree. I hope they will continue to later on long after we are gone too.
