I've come realize that I'm in desperate need of a little black dress! Well, maybe that's being a little dramatic, hehe ;o) The fact is I don't have a go to little black dress.. and every girl should, shouldn't she? I've decided that I'm going to attempt making mine. Here are some of my inspiration pictures...

and of course Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina! My perfect little black dress seems to have a nipped in waist and full skirt. No surprise there I suppose. Now it's time for me to find the perfect fabric!

oh, anyone with eyes must admit that bardot is just so divine. i feel the exact same way about dear audrey but she gets a little more attention than brigitte. but both are such beautiful style icons... i love that you went to them for inspiration! but for your dress i'd have to do with audrey's from sabrina. it would look so good on you!
Audrey's dress from "Sabrina" and Jean Seberg's from "Bonjour Tristesse" are probably my all-time favorite LBDs. Both by Givenchy, unsurprisingly! His designs were so chic, and perfectly suited for gamines like Audrey, Jean and you. :)
All of those dresses are so beautiful, but my favourite is Audrey Hepburn's. So classy and just fabulous!

I do love Audrey's and Jean Seberg's the best! I guess I always just feel most comfortable in a demure neckline.. it's a must for a versatile dress for me! : )
