Inspiration Friday, New Orleans 1930's & 1940's

I discovered these pretty pictures a few weeks ago while browsing on flickr. They're all of the same stylish girl that in the pictures is called simply Mom. All of these pretty pictures seem to have been taken in New Orleans in the 1930's and 1940's.

Adorable, right!? You can see some more pictures here.
I hope you all have a nice weekend!!

I've seen these photos on flickr before and I can't help but say she reminds me so much of my older sister it's pretty funny though because her friend did photography of her in a vary similar hat to the one in the first picture!!

Oh my goodness--what gorgeous photos! I especially love that she lived in the south... I always love seeing how gals back in the day beat the heat and still looked cute. ;) (I say as it's in the mid 90s and we have a thunderstorm rolling in! Ugh humidity!) Thanks for sharing!

I love the "reading in the meadow" shot. It's fabulous (as are the maracas).

This is my grandmother 🥰 Ever a stylish lady. She lived to be almost 102! She was a woman who didn’t eat many vegetables, drank a glass of bourbon every night, and loved to dance and sing and was known to drop the occasional f bomb.
