I Found a Castle in the Woods

Not really a castle, but an old military fort dating back to the Civil War. It was such a beautiful day! The temperature reached all of 50 degrees, making it feel like spring. The dress I am wearing is a Christmas present from Jonny. I love it! He knows me so well. We had such a wonderful Christmas. I hope all of you are having a lovely Holiday as well. :o)

Sweater: Forever 21
Dress: Anthropologie
Tights: Express
Boots: Frye

My gosh! You have the most wonderful history places to visit. Stupid old California has nothing old. Well nothing like the east coast. Haha.

I love that dress. And don't rush on the email. Get it out whenever you have time. And thank you!

PS. I'm ever so jealous that you went to the Stax museum - I'd die to visit that place!

Your fort adventure looks like a nice afternoon, and your gift from the hubby seems to suit you very nicely.

Have a splendid day.

Nice find! I always love photoshoots with completely clashing elements, like an old collapsing barn as the backdrop for ballgowns. This would be so perfect for something like that :)

Old forts, castles, abandoned houses and fair old woods; something magical and mythical is in the air! So good to hear that your Christmas was good, and the dress is so sweet!
