Grey Gardens

I first saw the documentary Grey Gardens with my Mom a few years ago. I fell instantly in love with Little Edie Beale and her mother Big Edie. While watching my Mom and I didn't know wether to laugh or cry! Though mostly we did laugh, because strangely enough we could kind of relate. So, I can't tell you how excited I am to see the HBO movie coming out this April telling more about their lives. The movie stars the adorable Drew Barrymore as Little Edie and the fabulous Jessica Lange as Big Edie. Not only am I excited to learn more about these two ladies but just look at the costumes!!!! Yay!

PS: I want to thank all of you for the wonderful comments you left on my last post! Also, I'm so sorry about the lack of post this past week! I started a new part-time job and had a cold so I didn't feel up to blogging. Talk soon!!!

I read an article about Edie beale and the Grey Gardens in the recent Lula. It seemed quite amazing, but I actually know close to nothing about who or what she and it actually was. I need to find out since it all looks so amazing.

I forgot all about this movie! I'm sort of scared to see it . . . the documentary is so wonderful and I love little Edie so much.

I love that you watched it with your mom, too! My mom thought I was a crazy for liking it! But I think she secretly liked it too. She said, "It's like a train wreck!'
