Last Sunday Night

Last Sunday night Jonny and I had a little date. I was so excited to wear this silk 60s dress I recently bought! Our date consisted of going out for a quick bite to eat, then heading to an Elvis Tribute concert, Elvis impersonator and all! I'm not going to lie, it's not the first Elvis impersonator I've seen. It's been quite awhile though, so I was super excited! It's tough being an Elvis fan, when you weren't even born until eight years after he died. Anyway, Michael Hoover (the Elvis tribute artist) was lots of fun! I even got a scarf and a kiss on the cheek. I was so excited getting a scarf from Michael that if it was really Elvis giving me that scarf and that kiss, I know I would have passed out! Anywho, I also met another little Elvis! A 25 yr old boy with down syndrome, who couldn't have been any sweeter! After the concert and a couple rum and cokes later we got some chocolate and took a walk on the beach. A perfect Sunday night date if you ask me?!

You look so gorgeous--that color and the drape of the fabric are beautiful on you! :)

How fun to go to the Elvis tribute concert! ;) I haven't been to a ton of those (at least, not Elvis... we caught a Beatles band earlier this summer), but they're always loads of fun!

Such a lovely dress! The color is absolutely to die for.

I wanted to say that your post about the island with wild horses made my week and maybe my month! It's been my childhood dream to find such a place, but I just assumed that wild horses are just in fairy tales & stories. Someday I'll get there. You're so lucky to live where you are! It looks beautiful.
