Stars & Stripes

Sunglasses, Asos
Dress, Made by Me
Belt, Thrifted
Flats, Aldo

Hello!
This past week, I made this here dress ;) It's become the nautical dress I've always wanted! I didn't set out to make the nautical dress of always wanted, but I'm glad it turned out that way. The buttons are some from the 1940's that I've been saving for quite awhile. I think their perfect for this dress!

Oh another note.. for the past couple of months I've been attempting to grow my pixie into a short bob. Though, right now it's driving me a bit crazy! I have a hair appointment for Tuesday. Do you think I should just get a trim, and keep growing my pixie into a bob.. or should I chop it all off?
Have a lovely weekend! xo

If I could make dresses like that I don't think I'd ever bother buying any. It's gorgeous Quincy! The star buttons are actually amazing! You really have a gift!

Not many women can pull off the pixie cut, Michelle Williams, Jean Seberg, Natalie Portman and you! I would keep it short if only for the summer. Just my two cents!

Your dress looks beautiful! The buttons give it that special touch of uniqueness! Quite a dress, indeed!

About the hair... Since you've been pulling the effort to let it grow, I would try to let it grow a little more until you get the bob size. After you have it, you can always go back to your pixie, but it's not so easy the way around...

Ohh love the dress! You should keep growing it! You can always lob it off after it's grown out a bit :)

Oh - and I LOVE your hair! It's tempting me to chop all mine off again (now it's just hit my shoulders! Arg!)
I think you should just have some fun with it! Grow it and see how you get on - you can always chop it and change your mind, then change your mind again and grow it, then chop it again and....Well it's never-ending fun! xx

I like your hair short, it suits your face so well! I think if you are longing for changing then grow it out. That dress is so sweet the buttons add just the right touch!

I love your pixie, but I also loved the slightly longer hair you used to have... am trying to decide weather to chop off all my long hair at the moment myself! Either way you'll look gorgeous with that smile though!

I kinda love your wee haircut but am also thinking
a cute little 20s bob would look pretty adorable too!p.s. most envious about your sewing skill!
