This afternoon I went downtown to enjoy the nice fall day. Despite the chilly weather Jonny and I stopped to have some ice cream, it was delicious! While taking pictures too many people starting walking by, hence the funny face in the picture with the man and his bike...lol!
I was very excited to be able to wear my new winter boots, I love them! My sweater and belt are vintage as well as my dress which is from the 1940's - I hemmed it shorter.
I also want to thank everyone for their helpful comments about my hair. I'm still a brunette at the moment, but in the next couple months plan on going blonde again. Being blonde is just so much fun...lol! :o)

Cute! I love your boots. I have a pair of warm winter boots that were my aunt's. I left them back in NY for when I visit because even on the cool days out here it's not quite cold enough for them.
Oh you look beautiful! I love your dress and the street looks so lovely, I love cobblestone roads :)
What a great look--I really love the ribbons that are lacing up the boots; so much more fun than plain ol' laces. :)
Secret: one of my favorite times of year to get ice cream is when it's cold. lol!
Love this outfit - you look great!
and the boots are awesome!!
I love what you've done to these photos, and the paved paths. I looked for boots like that for years, kinda like boxing boots, those would have been perfect, they're great!
I'm with Casey - the ribbon lacings are just fantastic on those boots!
this skirt is lovely (on you) ...I think you would like the style Essentiel sells...maybe you should just take a look on their website :
