I can't tell you how much I love this dress!!! For ten days I looked at it everyday on ebay counting down the seconds that I could make that bid and it would be mine. Sunday night there I was with 30 seconds left making that bid, it was mine but only for a few more seconds before someone made a higher bid. As fast as I could I tried to make another bid to keep the dream alive, but there wasn't enough time. I lost the dress by just a couple seconds! Sense that night I have been obsessively searching the web for a dress similar. Sadly nothing comes close to my love for this dress! oh no! that dress is tooo cute! what a tragedy that it got away. i, too, was let down by ebay this weekend. i mistakenly thought the auctions ended much later than they did and by the time i checked in all three things i'd been watching had slipped away.
that is my ebay pet peeve!! i hate when the sneaky people come in and bid in the last minutes. that dress would have looked so cute on you!
ugh. same thing happened with a pair of boots to me today... I have a dress that I haven't listed in my store yet, it's by no means identical, but it did remind me of it. It has a sailor front and is the colours of neapolitan icecream. It's different but of the same genre... anyways... send me an email if you're interested.

I'm so with you, dear. It's a (been) freaking gorgeous piece, that dress. And you probably start asking yourself why and how you could let go and didn't bid enough... I know this! I felt like that when I missed out on your bathing suit... :( Cheer up, everything will be fine again. I promis.

I really really adore this dress! Maybe it's because I am sucker for all dresses. I just love the style, and carefree-ness that comes with so many dresses. I also love being a girl!
That is why I try to stay away from ebay! I mean, i've gotten some great things from them before, but I've also had some real battles. Hope next time your luck is better !! :)

I've recently started using goofbay.com, which makes me win things more easily. Of course you can also get outbid in the last minute if someone makes a higher bid, but it is certaintly easier.
