In My Sunday Best

Today after church Jonny and I took a drive to this wonderful old church. I pass it everyday on the way to work and like to stop whenever I can. It's beautiful, isn't it?!

The suit I'm wearing is a very recent find. It's from the 1940s and it was in pretty rough shape when I found it. It only cost me $8 though, so I'm not complaining! I always get so excited when I find pieces from the 40s that fit just right! I hope everyone is enjoying the last bit of their weekend! The weather has been so perfect around here! Nice and cool at night and in the 70s during the day. I love September!

Also in my shop I've started, Q's Daydream END OF SUMMER SALE! Items starting at $5!

That suit is beautiful! You look smashing in it, a black suit is such a nice thing to have (which I don't) hehe.

Wow, I'm just loving that 40s suit. Did you fix it up? Because I don't see any damages. And I love the shoes. I adore t-strap shoes.
Gorgeous pictures!

I love your outfit, so understated and lovely :). I find it hard to make an all black outfit look feminine and not harsh, but you definitely pulled it off :)

Hi. I often read your blog, but barely comment. I do need some help though and thought you may be the perfect person to ask. I am hosting an event at a dinner theatre where the show is dedicated to Elvis (synosis is a group of people are staying at Heart Break hotel and Elvis's ghost and music help them find true love). Anyway, as a host I was thinking I would like to wear something that says Elvis without me looking like an impersonater, a drag queen or John Stamos circa Full House years. I know that you have an adoration for the years Elvis was around and wondering if you had some suggestions? please comment on my blog if you do. If you have an email, I moderate my comments and it won't be published. I would leave my email here, but I don't think you moderate.

look forward to hearing from you.
