Hello darlings! This skirt has got to be one of my new favorites! I got it here in Nashville on my birthday. I've been needing to add more separates to my wardrobe, so I was super pleased to find this skirt. My new favorite thing to wear seems to be tied up blouses with a skirt or a pair of vintage shorts. Nice and cool for these hot summer days! What's your go to outfit right now?

My Birthday With Pasty Cline

Yesterday was my 26th birthday! I really had a wonderful day. The celebrating started Saturday night when Jonny and I met my dear friend Fab and her husband Mark for a lovely dinner.

On Sunday Jonny and I did some of my favorite things. A picnic, walking around Nashville and drinking coffee. I'm easy to please, lol. I did get a couple vintage goodies that I'll show you soon!

Then Sunday night Jonny took me to The Ryman Auditorium to see Always...Patsy Cline starring Mandy Barnett. The show was unbelievable! Watching and listening to Mandy was like having Pasty Cline back again. Perfection!

I had such a great day!

Inspiration Friday, Jamaica Blue 1975

I came across these amazing images from British Vogue at Clever Nettle, then found more of them here. I must say when it comes to looking for inspiration I always go to the 1940's and 1950's. I tend to forget about the 70's... Which is a terrible shame. After all the 70's did have a bit of a 40's and 50's thing going on! These pictures might have rekindled my passion for the 1970's. Oh yes, I think they have.
