Inspiration Friday, Lolita

Every spring I find myself going back to director Adrian Lyne's adaptation of Vladimir Nobokov's novel Lolita. Dominique Swain's costumes in the film are seriously to die for! I fact I'm so crazy about the outfits in this movie that I bought a reproduction of the sailor playsuit last spring! You can see the post of me wearing it here.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! xo

All of those ruffled tops! I can't take it! If you haven't read the book, please do. I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

I just discovered your blog! You have great style!

I LOVE the fashions in this movie, particularly the playsuits! It’s great to see that others do, too! My favorite is the one is the black and white (or is it navy?) with the bow print and all the lace trim! It’s just so sweet!
