Baby Pink Dress, Made By Me
Hat, Thrifted
Sweater, F21 many years ago
Dress, Made by me!
Belt, A gift from Casey
Tights, Target
Boots, Steve Madden
Today was the most perfect Saturday! The sun was shinning, and I got to spend the day with bff, Jonny ;o) We had lunch at our favorite burger joint and then headed to the fabric store for some goodies. Now it's almost time for dinner. We're having breakfast, hehe!
The dress I made last summer. I don't usually wear pink, but the 1950'sish print got me.
I hope you all are well! Talk soon!

The Calm Before The Storm
Hat, Target
Vintage 1940's Dress, Ebay a few years ago
Boots, Very old
Hello lovelies!!
These pictures were taken Sunday afternoon just before some bad storms rolled through Tennessee. Tornado warnings and all. The one and only thing I don't like about living down south is the potential for tornadoes. No, sitting in the bathtub at 2am is not fun! All is well now. :O)
The outfit I'm wearing was inspired by Lena Hoschek's new collection. I pulled out one of my favorite 1940's dresses and paired it with my old lace up boots. A perfect outfit for a warm winter afternoon. I hope you all are well!! xo

Lena Hoschek, F/W 2012-2013
Lena Hoschek just today debuted her Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Collection at Berlin Fashion Week! Here are some of my favorites...
All pictures found here
GORGEOUS as always! Yes Lena, I think you shall forever remain my favorite designer. *sigh*
Also, sorry for the lack of posts earlier this week! I've been super busy working on a new project. I have to keep it secret for now, but you'll be the first to know when it's finished ;o)

Inspiration Friday, 1930's Beach Pajamas & Such
Last three pictures found at The Frivolous Flapper
At the moment I'm slightly obsessed with pants outfits and beach pajamas from the 1930's. Well, maybe I'm always obsessed with pants from the 1930's, hehe! Anyway, my mission this spring is to find some vintage 1930's beach pajamas. It's gonna be super tough because they've become so rare, but I'm hopeful! Maybe I'll end up making myself a pair if my search fails...
Have a glorious weekend!
Oh, and thank you ever so much for the sweet comments from my last post! xo

Shoes, A few Christmas' ago
Hello lovelies!
Hello lovelies!
I've been looking everywhere for a pilots hat, and finally found this knit hat that kinda has the shape of a pilots hat. I'm still looking for the real thing though, hopefully a leather one! I guess you could say I'm a confused sailor girl, that wants to fly, lol.
On a completely different note, Jonny and I are adopting a puppy basset hound! Basset hounds are my favorite dogs ever and I've been wanting one for yearsssssss. We finally have a little girl that's going to be all ours. Yay!!! You know as soon as she's home I'll be posting pictures ;O)

On New Years Eve day I had the pleasure of meeting one of my favorite blogger friends in person, Karyn of Dethrose Vintage! Karyn and I have know each other online for a couple years now, so meeting her in person was a real treat. Karyn came to Nashville from Chicago with a couple of girlfriends to celebrate the new year. Here are some pics of Karyn and I hanging out at The Frothy Monkey!
Isn't she gorgeous!?
I had such fun with these girls!
You can see more of Karyn's Nashville adventures here.
