The Calm Before The Storm

Hat, Target
Vintage 1940's Dress, Ebay a few years ago
Boots, Very old

Hello lovelies!!
These pictures were taken Sunday afternoon just before some bad storms rolled through Tennessee. Tornado warnings and all. The one and only thing I don't like about living down south is the potential for tornadoes. No, sitting in the bathtub at 2am is not fun! All is well now. :O)

The outfit I'm wearing was inspired by Lena Hoschek's new collection. I pulled out one of my favorite 1940's dresses and paired it with my old lace up boots. A perfect outfit for a warm winter afternoon. I hope you all are well!! xo

I'm glad to hear the tornadoes missed you, we had a huge thunder storm in Chicago last night. The cut and color of this '40s dress is amazing and I like how you paired it with a beret and lace up boots. The last photo of you is also stunning, the landscape is so gorgeous there!

Love this outfit!!! I'm often so hesitant to wear some of my less "pretty" boots with my favorite dresses, yet they're so practical sometimes. You've inspired me not to hesitate in the future! :)
