A Day At Loretta Lynn's Ranch!

Today Jonny and I spent a lovely afternoon at Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch!
I've been wanting to visit since I was little and after a planned trip with some friends yesterday didn't work out Jonny suggested he take me today. It was a beautiful day indeed for a drive through the country! I'm a big Loretta fan and to go we she has lived for the last 44 years was quite the experience.

Here I am looking all excited getting ready to tour Loretta's home. She lived in this home (built before the Civil War!) until 1988. She now lives in a smaller home right in the backyard!

A pretty little statue in the garden.

Me on the porch after our tour. No pictures were allowed inside.

Loretta has a bunch of horses that Jonny and I pet and fed grass for the longest time!

There was so much to do and see, I might have to go back again soon! Maybe Loretta will be there next time ;o)
It's so crazy for me to think I spent an afternoon at Loretta Lynn's and was back home in time for supper. I love Tennessee! xoxo

very pretty. That is so odd but really cute that she lives in her own backyard and lets the rest be all touristy. I loved the Coal Miner's Daughter film and I loved when she guest starred on The Dukes of Hazzard show. haha. Beautiful!

I really wanna go here! Last year, I paid a visit to the home she grew up in in Butcher Holler, Van Lear, KY. I only wish that there weren't other people there (especially the noisy children) because I really wanted to have a moment of silence for my gal. I love Loretta! I'm diggin' the gingham & leather.
