Motorcycle Chic

Faux Leather Jacket, Shop in Downtown Nashville
1950's Dress, The Hip Zipper
Dolce Vita Boots, Flea Market

I might have mentioned that I have been wanting a cropped motorcycle jacket. Well, last weekend while enjoying an afternoon downtown I spotted this one. I'd had my mind set on a black one, but after trying this on I knew I had to have it! It was the perfect fit and the perfect price. What more could a girl want!?

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Saturday Jonny and I did some more exploring of Tennessee. Today, we were mostly lazy, though we did take a nice long walk. The weather is so perfect right now! Talk to you soon!

I love the leather jacket!!! A motorcycle jacket has been on my wishlist for awhile too (that or a bomber-style), but I just haven't found the right one. Plus I'm never sure how it'll look with my more feminine outfits. But you've convinced me! ;)

Such a cute jacket, Quincy! I love how you transformed a motorcycle jacket into something feminine and pretty with your printed full skirt. I have a similar jacket (vintage vivienne westwood, black cotton, bought it used for a song!) that I love wearing with pretty dresses. Fitted and femininely-cut, it's one of those unexpected (I'm too frilly to be motorcycle-tough) staples of my wardrobe. Also particularly good with a tiny vintage silk scarf tied at the neck.

It's funny that you posted this. I just attended an opening for the artist Rosson Crow at the Contemporary Art Center in Cincinnati and they invited people to wear their leather jackets. The show was accompanied by some elaborately painted cycles set in the galleries. You are adorable by the way!
